About this event
From 3-8 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month, we modify the Museum experience by dimming the lights and turning down volumes to create a safe and welcoming environment for visitors living with sensory sensitivities and disabilities.
Sensory Nights Feature:
• Quiet spaces located throughout the Museum for visitors to cool down
• Staff-supported activities designed to engage different sensory needs, such as heavy work activities.
• Dimmed lighting
• Reduced sounds and effects in exhibits
