- ➤ University Galleries presents an exhibition celebrating 50 years of Normal Editions Workshop featuring key prints by local artists until March 25 at 11 Uptown Circle — interim director Morgan Price will moderate a panel discussion on Feb. 13 that highlights the workshop’s collaborative legacy. - ➤ Youthbuild McLean County will offer an eight-week pre-apprenticeship in construction for adults using a $350,000 state grant. Classes will start in June and August with 33 participants to gain carpentry skills and first aid certification. 25 News Now
- ➤ On Jan. 29, Unit 5 board met where nearly two dozen community members, including Carlock students, opposed closing Carlock Elementary amid enrollment concerns & classroom size issues.
