  • The Bloomington chapter of the National Federation of Musicians (Orpheus) held its Junior Festival in March and recognized several local students for their musical talent.  The Pantagraph

  • The Bloomington LIZ Investment Club awarded two 2026 scholarships at Mount Pisgah — a move to support local student success.  The Pantagraph
  • Olympia High School will hold its graduation ceremony at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 17, in the school gymnasium to honor the 2026 graduates.  The Pantagraph

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • After narrowly passing in the House, the Food, Farm and National Security Act is set to help family farms manage rising costs if the Senate approves it — the bill would reauthorize USDA programs through 2031. The Illinois Farm Bureau said the legislation still awaits Senate review.  Cities 92.9
