- ➤ Bloomington-based State Farm rejects claims by California’s insurance commissioner that it delayed investigations & underpaid wildfire claims from 2025. The insurer said it has paid more than $5.7 billion in claims and defended its practices as the matter moves toward further review. 25 News Now
- ➤ State Farm and Country Financial processed 656 insurance claims from the April 17 storms in McLean County — Country handled 176 claims and State Farm 480. Cleanup continues in Bloomington and Normal as inspectors review damage to homes and vehicles. WGLT

- ➤ Unit 5 evacuated Normal Community High School Tuesday morning after a reported potential threat, moving students to Eastview Church (all are safe) as state and local law enforcement investigate while parents are advised to avoid both sites. 25 News Now
