- ➤ More than 300 Illinois State University workers returned to work after ratifying a new five-year contract that provides an immediate pay increase of 3.5 percent and a $1,500 signing bonus, while $5 million in taxpayer funds back Combe Inc.'s $30 million manufacturing expansion in Rantoul which will create over 20 jobs. - ➤ Normal West High School mock trial team becomes the first Unit 5 team to compete at nationals in Des Moines, Iowa this weekend after winning a state championship in March & joining 48 teams in the national competition. WGLT
