GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Bloomington City Council will consider issuing $36 million in bonds on Tuesday, May 27, to fund water projects that could cover about 18 months of work — the council may also propose another $72.5 million bond issuance in fiscal 2027 while the water rates approved in November 2023 are set to raise monthly bills from about $17 to around $40 for typical users.
