- ➤ Joe Rodriguez (25) was detained Friday on burglary and weapons charges after he allegedly burglarized a residence in west Bloomington. The Pantagraph
- ➤ Bloomington Police Department reported 2 impaired driving arrests, 16 speeding citations, and 17 other traffic citations on July 4—one driver fled on foot while carrying a handgun that was later recovered, leading to his parole being revoked and multiple firearm-related arrests. Cities 92.9
- ➤ McLean County prosecutors charged Todd Allen Miller, 37, with two felony counts of aggravated battery and misdemeanor domestic battery after he allegedly held a folding knife to his ex-roommate's throat—poked her stomach and slapped her when she refused sex on Thursday, July 10 near an apartment in Downtown Bloomington, leaving her with a bloody lip and throat abrasions. 25 News Now

City staff trimmed costs by canceling features like mood lighting and ornamental fencing — switching many tasks to in-house teams without changing the project’s core look. 25 News Now
