Good morning, Bloomington.

City staff in Bloomington reworked a $13.2 million agreement for the first phase of a downtown streetscape project by partnering with Stark Excavating and shifting some work in-house—reducing costs from an initial $18.6 million bid.

The city council will vote on the contract today as part of the Downtown for Everyone initiative, with planned savings from reduced project features and consolidated contracts.

Pediatric neuropsychologist Dr. Jennifer Huffman was named vice president of clinical operations at The Baby Fold and will lead efforts to boost patient care.
