- ➤ Miller Park Pavilion in Bloomington will host a free arts festival on Aug. 10th — the event is set to offer art displays and live performances for all attendees. The Pantagraph

- ➤ The Illinois EPA and IDPH warn that wildfire smoke from Canada has lowered air quality in many Illinois counties and triggered a Red Air Pollution Action Day. Air quality in Bloomington and Normal is now 'unhealthy for sensitive groups' and residents are urged to stay indoors, close windows, and use high-efficiency filters — steps to reduce risks from particle pollution.
