- ➤ Connect Transit board members in Bloomington will meet on October 1 to honor Ryan Whitehouse and discuss the board’s future after his death on Sept. 24 in Michigan following an accident — he had served as chairman since 2012. - ➤ Families traded screen time for fun at Uptown Normal during the Children's Discovery Museum's annual Day of Play — the event featured bounce houses, obstacle courses, and giant board games. The Pantagraph
- ➤ K-Pop Skate Night will take place at Bloomington Ice Center on Friday, Oct. 3 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The family-friendly event will feature popular K-pop hits and photo opportunities — concessions will also be available. Central Illinois Proud
