  • A fire truck parade held last Sunday kicked off National Fire Protection Week and honored the late Hudson Fire Chief Del Thomas—whose work helped found the local fire school and the McLean County Firefighters Association—with many McLean County departments and the Towanda Red Knights Motorcycle Club leading the route from Franklin Park to State Farm headquarters. Fire officials stressed the need to call 911 quickly to handle emergencies.  25 News Now
