The Salvation Army of McLean County is opening its Emergency Winter Shelter today to offer hot meals, showers, laundry, and case management for those experiencing homelessness during the winter.

The shelter will remain open through mid-March—its seasonal expansion builds on last year’s support that helped 154 individuals with nearly 2,900 overnight stays.
