- ➤ Bloomington and Morton police are hosting food drives today at Kroger stores to collect non-perishable items such as canned fruits, vegetables, meats, soups, boxed meals and peanut butter for local food banks—these events support neighbors facing food insecurity. The Morton drive runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. while the Bloomington events occur from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1502 North Main St. and 2507 East Oakland Ave. Central Illinois Proud
