- ➤ Bloomington and Normal have set parking bans to begin when snow is forecast to fall across Central Illinois — the measure is designed to keep streets clear for snow removal. City officials said residents should check for posted restrictions to avoid penalties. The Pantagraph
- ➤ Illinois hunters harvested a preliminary total of 51,409 deer from Nov. 21-23 in the first weekend of the firearm season — a drop from last year’s 54,661 deer as the season runs until Dec. 7. Members of the Illinois High School Association will vote online on 12 proposals from Dec. 1 to Dec. 15 and a NiceRx report ranked Illinois as the fifth unhealthiest state based on obesity and activity measures.
