Taylor St. in Bloomington where volunteers, including 18-year-old Tommy Wade—an aspiring architect—helped lift roof trusses and frame walls for an energy-efficient home; the project will be finished in November and offers a no-interest mortgage for families in need. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ State police seized nearly 80 pounds of cocaine during a Friday traffic stop on Interstate 74 near Rt 51 south of Bloomington, and 40-year-old Osvaldo Anaya Ramirez faces charges for drug trafficking, possession and delivery after troopers matched his Guess shoes to prints found on wine barrels.
